This last year has seen a new project for the Group. We have twinned with the Medina Sering Mass Scout Group in The Gambia. This partnership has been brought about by the charity HELPING.
All the sections have been involved in getting this partnership up and running. We started off by writing letters or drawing pictures to introduce ourselves and then spent time learning more about The Gambia. This gave us all a better understanding of life in Western Africa.
As well as the information on this page we also have a notice board dedicated to this partnership which is regularly updated. Various displays have (and will continue to show) the correspondence between the groups, the photographs and the fundraising activities we take part in. Do take a look on your way out of the HQ or when waiting to collect your son/daughter.
